It all began in 1898 after a wave of epidemics: Maurice Berger, a pharmacy technician, designed an air purification system. A \"hygienic mist diffuser<\/em>\" which would go onto be called the Lampe Berger<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nIt was originally designed for hospitals and morgues, but it soon found its way into our homes to purify the air and remove unpleasant odours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
The bottle became a fully-fledged home accessory in the 1920s. The company has worked with famous brands and designers including Lalique, Baccarat, Gall\u00e9, Chantal Thomass, Lolita Lempicka and Philippe Starck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
